Here's your answer !!

Given: x - ky = 2  ,   3x + 2y + 5 = 0

To find: k

Proof:  

It is not possible to find a definite value for k. It could be any number.

But since ( a1 / a2 ≠ b1 / b2 ) there can be only one value for k. So we can just put some condition that the value of k is not equal to some number like x ≠ 1, 2, 3. Like that.

= 1 / 3 ≠ k / 2

= 2 * 1 / 3 ≠ k

= k ≠ 2 / 3
