3x+2y=4 = = 3x+2y-4=0

5x+ky=-8 = = 5x + ky+8=0

For no solution

2/k=-4/8

16=-4k

-4=k

\huge\mathfrak{Answer}

\huge\sf{solution:}

This is a linear equation in two variable first write it in to its standard form .

\boxed{\sf{ ax + by + c = 0}}

\implies 3Kx + 2y -4 = 0

and, 5x + Ky + 8 = 0

For no solution we have

\implies

 \frac{a1}{a2} ≠	 \frac{b1}{b2}

\implies\frac{3k}{5} ≠	 \frac{2}{k}

\implies3 {k}^{2}  ≠	 10

\impliesk  ≠	   \sqrt{ \frac{10}{3} }
