Hey mate,...

here's your answer,...

as u said, lines are parallel,..then the slopes must be equal,..

slope of line= -a/b

therefore slope of line 1 is

 - \frac{3}{2k}

and the slope of the second line is

 \frac{2}{5}

now equate both of them,..

 - \frac{3}{2k} = \frac{2}{5} \\ \frac{3}{2k} = -\frac{2}{5} \\ 15 = -4k \\ k = -\frac{15}{4} \\

hope this is the answer,...

pls mark me as the brainliest,...

maanekk01: i think a /b
maanekk01: not-a/b
vhpsharitha: no,.. its -a/b, just check the 2nd line equation of IRS, whether u have written correct or not
vhpsharitha: urs*
vhpsharitha: I think u have written wrong
maanekk01: yes i checked
maanekk01: its right
vhpsharitha: oh,..ok then
vhpsharitha: may be options are wrong, in my book they gave slope as -a/b
vhpsharitha: I even sent the photo, just have a look
