Given equation:

  • 2x² + Kx + 3 = 0

This is of the form ax² + bx + c = 0

Where:

  • a = 2
  • b = k
  • c = 3

As, roots of the given quadratic equation are equal,

Therefore:

b² - 4 ac = 0

➠ (k)² - 4 × 2 × 3 = 0

➠ k² - 24 = 0

➠ k² = 24

➠ k = ± √24

  • So, k = ± 2√6
