find the value of k for quadratic equation so that they have two real and equal roots
kx(x - 2) + 6 = 1

Hi Mate!!!

For real and equal roots Descrimnant ( D ) Must be = 0

Given quadratic equation can be rewrite as

kx² - 2kx + 5 = 0

D = √ ( 2k )² - 20k }

D = 0

=>. 4k² -20k = 0

=>. k =0 or k = 5
