find the value of k for the following pair of equation 3 x - y - 5 = 0 and 6 x - 2y - K = 0 if the lines represented by these equations are parallel​

As the equations are parallel, thus,

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

thus, 3/6=1/2=5/k

=1/2=1/2=5/k

5/k= 1/2

= 5*2=1*k ......... cross multiple

10=k

thus, k=10
