find the value of k for the quadratic equation 9xsquare-kx+4=0. so that this has two equal roots? plzz answer it fast

given that =9x²+kx+4=0
having same roots
let α be same roots of quadratic equation
as we know
product of two roots =α²=9*4=36
i. e. α=6
or sum of two roots =2α=k
i. e. =2*6=12=k
hence value of k=12
