Find the value of K for the quadratic equation Kx(x-2) + 6 = 0 have two equal roots.

kx (x-2)+6=0

roots are equal so they are 0 i.e. one of the roots is 0

kx^2-2kx+6=0

-b/a=- -2k/k=2

c/a= 6/k

since they are equal

k= 2×6=12
