3 is zero of the polynomial

so replace x by 3

3^2-k3+12=0

9-3k+12=0

-3k +21=0

-3k=-21

k=7

hope this helps you....plz mark me brainlist

Hey

f(x)=x^2-kx+12

Given:

x=3

=>f(x)=f(3)

Now,

f(3)=(3)^2-3k+12

=>21-3k=0

=>k=21/3=7
