let zeros be X and Y .

according to question X= 6Y.

equation = kx²- 14x + 8

X+ Y= -(-14)/k

6Y+ Y = 14/k... .... ..... X=6Y

7 Y = 14/k
Y = 2/k........................(1)

XY = 8/k
6Y*Y = 8/k..... ............ X= 6Y
6Y² = 8/k
6*(2/k)²= 8/k.....................using (1)
24/k²= 8/k
8k=24
k= 3

Kx2 - 14x + 8 = 0 is 6 times other..

hence, K = 3.
