answer,

according to the question,

2x^2+kx+3, has 2 equal roots

b^2-4ac=0 , has 2 equal roots,

a=2

b=k

c=3

b^2-4ac= 0

k^2-(4*2*3)=0

k^2-24=0

k^2=24

so, k=√24

=2√6

hope this helps you^_^
