Find the value of K for which the equation 3x-y+=6 and 6x+ky= 12 represent coincident lines.​

Coincident lines means both lines have all points common

Therefore, a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1 / c2

Here, 3/6 = -1/k =6/12

1/2= -1/k

2=-k. (by reciprocal)

K = -2
