In the two pair of equations,
a1 = k-1. b1 = 3. c1 = 7
a2 = k+1. b2 = 6. c2 = 5k-1
As the pair of equations should have infinitely many solutions. the two lines must be coincident...
Then, a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2
= k-1/k+1 = 3/6
= 2(k-1) = k+1
= 2k-2 = k+1
= k = 3...
There your have your solution..
