kx+2y=3 ....(1)

3x+6y=10.....(2)

Multiply (1)×3

3kx+6y=9____(4)

3x+6y=10.....(2)

6y=10-3x_____(5)

subt value of 6y in (4)

3kx+10-3x=9

3kx-3x=-1

3x(k-1)=-1

k-1=-1/3x

k=(-1/3x)+1
