Given ,

The pair of linear equations 4x + 6y - 1=0 and 2x + ky - 7= 0 represent parallel lines

As we know that ,

If two lines are parallel lines , then

 \boxed{ \tt \frac{ a_{1} }{ a_{2}}  =  \frac{ b_{1} }{ b_{2}}  ≠ \frac{ c_{1} }{ c_{2}}}

Thus ,

4/2 = 6/k

4k = 12

k = 12/4

k = 3

 \therefore The value of k is 3
