Given quadratic equation 4x² +4√3 x + k =0

Now compare this equation with   ax² + bx + c = 0

so that    a=4     b=4√3 x     c=k

now use the discriminant formula

b² = 4ac

now put the values in the above formula

( 4√3)²= 4(4)(k)

48=16k

48÷16=k

so, 3=k

OR,

K=3

hope this helps!! <3

Answer:

value of K= 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

4x² +4√3 x + k =0

Compare this equation with   ax² + bx + c = 0

so the value of a=4     b=4√3    c= k

Apply Discriminant formula

D= b²- 4ac.......i

D= 0 because the equation has equal roots.

Put the values on the equation..i

D= ( 4√3)²- 4(4)(k)  = 0

48= 16k

48÷16=k

k= 3

The value of K= 3
