km(m-2) +6 = 0
=> km^2 -2k m + 6 = 0
On comparing given equation with general equation we get ,
a = k
b = -2k
c = 6
For equal roots ,
Discriminant = 0
=> b^2 -4ac = 0
=> ( -2k)^2 -4 ( k)(6) = 0
=> 4 k^2 - 24k = 0
=> 4k^2 = 24k
=> 4k = 24
=> k = 6
=> km^2 -2k m + 6 = 0
