if the root of this equation is (x-3) therefore, the value of x can be written as
x-3=0
=> x=3
Now, putting the value of x in equation 2kx-5k=0
we get, 2k(3)-5k=0
=> 6k-5k=0 i.e. k=1
x-3=0
=> x=3
Now, putting the value of x in equation 2kx-5k=0
we get, 2k(3)-5k=0
=> 6k-5k=0 i.e. k=1
