Find the value of k for which the system of equations

kx-y = 2
6x-2y = 3

has 1) unique solution 2) no solution

Is there a value of k for which the system has infinitely many solution?

for infinte many solutions :
a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

so, 1/(k+1) = (k+1)/9
==> (k+1)2 = 9 ==> k+1 = 3 ==> k = 2 and next one your f. b.......
