Solution:

Let p(x) = kx³-5x²+2kx-3

It is given that,

(x-3) is a factor of p(x).

p(3) = 0

=> k(3)³-5(3)²+2k(3)-3 =0

=> 27k-45+6k-3=0

=> 33k-48=0

=> 33k = 48

=> k = 48/33

=> k = 16/11

Therefore,

k = 16/11
