if 2x-1 is factor of polynomial then it satisfied the polynomial
so put the value of x in polynomials then
P(x) =0
6 (1/2)^2 +k ×/1/2 -2 =0
6/4 +k/2 -2 =0
k/2 = 1/2

k= 1

2x-1=0
2x=1
x=1/2
therefore, by factor theorm,
f(x)=0
therefore,
f(x)=6x2 +kx-2=0
6/4 + k/2 - 2=0
3+k-4=0
k=1
