Therefore, x= 1/2
Now, f(1/2)=
6×(1/2)² + k×(1/2) - 2=0
3/2 + k/2 - 2=0
(3+k-4)/2 =0
3 + k - 4 =0×2
-1 + k = 0
Therfore, k=1
