find the value of k if 2x-1 is a factor of the polynomial p(x)=2x^2+3x-k​

2x-1 is a factor of giving polynomial so

2x-1 =0

x = 1/2

now put this value in given polynomial

p(1/2) = 2(1/2)²+3*(1/2)-k =0

= 1/2 + 3/2 - k =0

0= 4/2 -k

k = 2

so the value of k is 2
