2x-1=0

2x=1

x=1/2

f(x)=6x^2+kx-2

f(1/2)=6(1/2)^2+k(1/2)-2=0

       =6(1/4)+k/2=2

       =3/2+k/2=2

       =3+k/2=2

       =3+k=4

       =k=1
