Answer:

2x-1 is a factor of polynomial

4x^3-6x^2-4x+k

2x-1=0

2x=1

x=1/2

P(x)=4x^3-6x^2-4x+k

P(1/2)=4×(1/2)^2-4×1/2+k

=4×1/4-2+k

=1-2+k=0

k=1
