if 3 is one of the root then ,

x = 3

3(9) + 3k + 9 = 0

27 + 3k + 9 = 0

3k + 36 = 0

3k = -36

k = -12

Answer:

-12

Step-by-step explanation:

As 3 is a root, so

3(3)^2 + k(3) + 9 = 0

=> 27 + 3k + 9 = 0

=> 3k = -36

=> k = -12.
