If the roots are real then the discriminant of 2x^2 - 6kx + 3 = 0, here a = 2, b = 6k, C = 3

Discriminant = b^2 - 4ac

0= (6k)^2 - 4 (2)(3)

0= 36k^2 - 24

24=36k^2

24/36 = k^2

Root under 4/6 = k
