Answer:

3x2-3kx+4 = 0

eq.has equal roots then

b2-4ac =0

a=3 b =(-3k) c = 4

(-3k)2-4(3)4 = 0

9k2-48 = 0

9k2 = 48

k2 = 48/9

k2 = 16/3

k = ± 4/sq.root 3

Answer:

If equation have equal roots

then,

b^2-4ac = 0

Here, a = 3

b = -3k

c = 4

So,

(-3k)^2 - 4(3)(4) = 0

9k^2 - 48 = 0

9k^2 = 48

k^2 = 16/3

k = 4/root3

k = 4root3/3
