 Given \: equation \: of \: a\: line \: 3kx=5+2y

i)  If \: the \: line \: passing \: through \: a \:point

 (1,1 )  , then

 3k \times 1 = 5 + 2 \times 1

 \implies 3k = 7

 \implies k = \frac{7 }{3} \: --(1)

ii)  If \: the \: line \: passing \: through \: a \:point

 (1,2 )  , then

 3k \times 1= 5 + 2 \times 2

 \implies 3k = 5 + 4

 \implies 3k = 9

 \implies k = \frac{9 }{3}

 \implies k = 3 \: ---(2)
