putting values of a,b and c
( - k \sqrt{3 { }^{} } ) {}^{2}  - 4(3)(4)  = 0\\ 3k {}^{2}  - 48 = 0 \\ 3k {}^{2}  = 48 \\ k {}^{2}  = 16 \\ k =  + 4   - 4
