x² + 8x + k is the quadratic polynomial whose zeroes is 2

To finding the value of k we put the value x is 2

(2)² + 8*2 + k = 0

4 + 16 + k = 0

20 + k = 0

k = -20

Hope it is helpful

Nikhil1570: x + 1 = 1/16
Nikhil1570: x = 1/16 -1
Nikhil1570: x = -15/16
Nikhil1570: from (1) eq we find the value of k
Nikhil1570: x² + 2x = k
Nikhil1570: we put x = -15/16
Nikhil1570: so,
Nikhil1570: solve it
taranpreet34: thank u for the correct answer and I am a girl not a boy
Nikhil1570: oh sorry sister
