x - 1 = 0

x = 1

4x^{3} + 3x^{2} - 4x + k = 0

[4(-1)]^{3} + [3(-1)]^{2} - 4(-1) +k = 0

(-4)^{3} + (-3)^{2} + 4 + k = 0

- 64 + 9 + 4 + k = 0

- 51 + k = 0

k = 51

Hope it Helps !!!
