Find the value of K, if (x -1) is a factor of 4x cube + 3x sqaure - 4x + k

given ,g(x) = x - 1 =0

x = 1

and
p( x) = 4x^3 + 3x^2 - 4x + k ---(1)

put value of "x" here in (1) ,we get

p (1) = 4(1)^3 + 3(1)^2 - 4(1) + k

p(1) = 4 + 3 - 4 + k

p(1) = 3 + k = 0

3+ k = 0

k= - 3
