Step-by-step explanation:

follow me fastly ...........

rajput49701: x-1 =0
x=1
putting value of x in eqn
4(1)+3(1)-4(1)+k
7-4+k=0
3+k=0
k=-3

Answer:

By factor theorem,

(x-1) is a factor

i. e. x = 1 is a zero of p (x) = 4x^3+3x^2-4x +k

then p(x) =0

put x = 1

p(1) = 4(1)^3 + 3(1)^2 -4(1) + k =0

-----> 4 + 3 -4 +k=0

-----> k + 3= 0

-----> k = -3

ans

linetteelza: thanks!!!!!
jadhavmanoj1000: ok its my pleasure
