x-1 is a factor
x = 1

kx² - 3x + k = 0
k(1)² - 3(1) + k = 0
k - 3 + k = 0
2k - 3 = 0
k = 3/2

Hope it helps

x-1 is a factor so,
p(1)=0
»k(1)²-3(1)+k=0
»k-3+k=0
»2k-3=0
»k=3/2

therefore,k=3/2

thanks
