Answer:

p(x) = k {x}^{2}  -  \sqrt{2x}  + 1

x - 1 = 0

x = 1

p(1) = k {1}^{2}  -  \sqrt{2 \times 1}  + 1 = 0

k -  \sqrt{2}  + 1 = 0

k -  \sqrt{2}  =  - 1

k =  - 1 +  \sqrt{2}
