Find the value of K if x-1 is a factor of p(x)=2x^2+Kx+under root 2.

given x- 1 is the factor of the given

polynomial p(x) = 2x² +kx +2

so p(x) = 0

2(-1)² + k(-1) +2 = 0

-k +2 +2 = 0

k = 2+2

Putting x = 1

 {2x}^{2}  + kx \sqrt{2} =0

2(1)^2 + k (1)2 =0

k => 2+2
