p (1)= (4)^3+(3)^2-4+k

p (1)= 64+9-4+k

p (1)= 69+k ............ (i)

Now according to factor theorem we know that when p (x) is divided by g (x) then we get 0

so,

69+k= 0

=> k= -69 ans.
