Answer

Let P(x)=4x^3+3x^2−4x+k

Given,  (x−1) is a factor of P(x)

x−1=0

x=1

∴ p(1)=4×(1)^3+3×(1)^2−4×(1)+k=0

4+3−4+k=0

k+3=0

k=−3

Hence, the value of k is −3.

p of the point (4×-3,6×-3) = (-12,-18)

equation x+y=p

ie,

x=-12 & y=-18

put the values in x+y=p equation, we get

p= -12-18

p=-30

Hence, the value of p is -30
