Solution :

Given Polynomial =

p(x) = kx²-3x+k

x-1 = 0 (Given)

x = +1

polynomial p(x)= kx²-3x+k

p(1) = k(1)²-3(1)+k

k×1-3+k = 0

k+3+k = 0

2k -3 = 0

2k = 3

k = 3/2

The required value of k = 3/2

x-1=0

x=1

p(x)=kx²-3x+k

p(1)=k(1)²-3(1)+k=0

=>k-3+k=0

=>2k-3=0

=>2k= 3

=>k= 3/2
