Find the value of k if (x - 2) is a factor of
2x3 - 6x2 + 5x + k.

if (x-2)is a factor of 2x³-6x²+5x+k
then (f) =x-2=0
therefore , x=2
since, 2x³-6x²+5x+k=0
or,. 2(2)³-6(2)²+5×2+k=0
or,. 2×8-6×4+10+k=0
or,. 16-24+10+k=0
or,. 26-24+k=0
or,. k=. -2....................... answer
