x - 2 \: is \: factor \: of \: p(x) \\ x = 2 \\  {2}^{2}  + k(2) + 2(2) + 2  = 0\\  =  > 4 + 2k + 4 + 2 = 0 \\ 10 + 2k = 0 \\ 2k =  - 10 \\ k =  \frac{ - 10}{2}  \\ k =  - 5
