since x-2 is a factor => x=2
p(2) => 2 square +2k+2k =0
=> 4+4k = 0
=> 4k = -4. => k= -4/4 => -1
p(2) => 2 square +2k+2k =0
=> 4+4k = 0
=> 4k = -4. => k= -4/4 => -1

given ( x - 2) is the factor of the given polynomial
x - 2 = 0
x = 2
according to the question
on putting f (2)....
=> x^2 + kx + 2k = 0
=>(2)^2 + k* 2 + 2k=0
=> 4+4k = 0
=> 4 ( 1+ k) = 0
=> 1+ k = 0
=> k = -1
the answer will be -1
hope this helps u
