Putting value of x and y

2(2)+3(1)=k-2/3

4+3+2/3=k

7+2/3=k

(21+2)/3=k

23/2=k

k=11.5

2x + 3y = k - 2   \div 3 \\given \: that \: x = 2 \: y = 1 \\ so \: 2 \times 2 + 3 \times 1 = k - 2 \div 3 \\  \: 4 + 3 = k - 2 \div 3 \\  7 = k - 2 \div 3 \\ 7 \times 3 \div 2 = k \\ 21 \div 2 = k \\ 1.5 = k \\ hence \: we \: get \: k = 1.5
