Find the value of k if ( x-3) is a factor of 2x^2-kx+1

Hey

Given :-

x - 3 = 0

x = 3

sub x = 3 in 2x^2 - kx + 1

2(3)^2 - 3k + 1 = 0

2(9) - 3k + 1 = 0

18 + 1 - 3k = 0

3k = 19

k = 19/3
