if x-1 is a factors of polynomial (1)

so, x=1 exist this polynomial

now, put x=1 in (1)

=>4(1)³+3(1)²-4(1)+k=0

=>4+3-4+k=0

HEY DUDE HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

x - 1 = 0 \\ x = 1

f(x) = 4 {x}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2}  - 4x + k

f(1) = 4 \times 1 + 3 \times 1 - 4 \times 1 + k \\ 3 + k = 0 \\ k =  - 3

HOPE IT HELPS U
