Answer:

i) (2/3)^3×(2/3)^6=(4/9)^(2k-3)

=> (2/3)^(3+6)=(2/3)^2(2k-3)

=> (2/3)^9=(2/3)^(4k-6)

4k-6=9

=> 4k=9+6

=> 4k=15

=> k=15/4

=> k=3 3/4

ii)

(-4/5)^2×(4/5)^5=(4/5)^(6k+1)

=> (-4/5)(-4/5)×(4/5)^5=(4/5)^(6k+1)

=> (4/5)^(5+2)=(4/5)^(6k+1)

=> 6k+1=7

=> 6k=7-1

=> 6k=6

=> k=6/6

=> k=1
