I am assuming that the Q is  3x² -k√3x+4=0 (looks like it is a type, there should be a x after k√3x)

If the roots are equal then, bsquare-4ac=0

(k√3)square-4(3)(4)=0

ksquare*3=48

ksquare=48/3

ksquare=16

k=sqroot of 16

k=4
