Find the value of k in the fillowing question

kx-3y=k-2
12x+ky=k
plzz solve it fast

a1/a2 =/ b1/b2 (=/ means not equal to)

k/12 =/ - 3/k
k² =/ - 36
k =/ +- 6

And 12x + ky - k = 0

For finding the value,

 \frac{a1}{a2} = \frac{b1}{b2} \: not \: equal \: to \: <br />\frac{c1}{c2}

 \frac{k}{12} = \frac{3}{k}

k2 = 36

Then, k = ± 6

∴ k = 6 or -6

Now putting the value of k = 6 and -6 in the given equation, it satisfies the solution...

a1/a2 = b1/b2 ≠ c1/c2

So, the value of k is 6 or -6.
