(2 , k) lies on the line x - 5y = 5 .

x = 2 , y = k .

2 - 5 ( k) = 5

2 - 5 = 5k

-3 = 5k.

k = -3/5 .

Hope helped! ^^

x=2
therefore, 2-5y=5
-5y=5-2
-5y= 3
y = -3/5
